This April, MLBT is venturing into the western frontier and channeling the spirit of the American cowboy. Though technically, we’re staying right here in Brooklyn.

I always believed that country is a state of mind. And even though I’m an Asian-American city girl, I can head to the honky tonk and two-step with the best of ‘em. To prove it, we are playing country shows at Hank’s Saloon (April 5) and the Branded Saloon (April 25), which will be packed with country classics as well as countrified versions of MLBT classics.

To give you a preview, here’s a new country blues song we debuted last Saturday at the Cantab Lounge in Boston.
